| In the last 6 months my vehicles have been broken into twice in my front
yard. I live in a really nice neighborhood so its really annoying. I want
to put a Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera on the front of the house but I dont want to
break the bank. Are there any sources for a decent setup without spending
a ton of money. Or are there any sources for a used setup??
I had a vehicle broken into, then another vehicle stolen, and
vandalism to property before deciding I had to do something. These
scum are like roaches - they come out at night, and scurry away
when lights come on. Install some motion detector floodlights to
illuminate your driveway. You can buy the units that use standard 100W
floodlamps. I wanted BRIGHT, so installed a pair of 500W halogen
lamps. Theyre quite inexpensive, a little over ten bucks at Home
Depot. Motion detectors wont switch such a heavy load, so I installed
a contactor between the lights and the detector. Home Depot sell a
nice motion dector with a red flashin. |
| Who am I?
I am YOU! I am a mother and a wife. Recently I learned that a hidden
wireless camera had been found in a washroom at a popular highway rest stop
that I had used from time to time myself, I felt like I had been d and
violated. No one knows how long the camera had been recording its
unsuspecting victims, nor how many s had viewed women and children at
their most intimate moments. Nor did anyone know what was done with the
feeds? Were we the stars of some x-rated pay web site? How much money
did we make these erts? Being wireless of course no-one came forward to
claim the camera! I had a million questions and few answers. My fear
eventually turned to anger and I resolved to equip myself with the tools to
protect myself and others. I learned that there are literally hundreds of
thousands of sites throughout the internet with feeds, everything
from washrooms, to changing rooms, to rental apartments, to the work place,
to guest rooms, to hotels, to showers, to school locker room. |
