abc wrote in message news:occa8tklf8ost2nbtenghflv5bjenp7jng@4ax.com... Hi: Can someone tell me what the latest build for NM 3.01 for Win2K is? The help | about box of my NM version shows: version 3.01 build 4.4.3385 That is the latest for Win2k. I found on the MS NM pages a service pack 2 update (to build 3396) but this update seems to be only for Win9* and NT Yes. Ive got some problems with the audio driver of my webcan (Philips ToUcam 740) and an evaluation version of Avirt Voice 4.0 (to bypass NAT). Perhaps an update to a higher build might solves these problems I doubt whether a later version of NM would help -- a later version of the audio driver or the Avirt product if they are the cause of your problems .....which is?
Yes, you can use the MX-700 as a . The video output shows the same as the lcd display. (even the setupscreen) You just need to disable the auto-power-down function (no prob) But be sure to have enough light! The pass through video signal is NOT optimized! But.. i tell you... my MX-700 makes much more better results then some other real s (which are build for this purpose)
Philips audio driver: Doesnt work in NM (no volume control so disabled recording facilities in NM). Philips tries to help me but their e-mail support is taking a lot of time (1 week between question and answer, etc.) I saw that NM sp 1 solved a problem with another Philips so I thought, maybe sp2 solves my audio problem like sp1 did for the other Philips . Ive got a work-around though: connecting an external microphone and using my Yamaha soundcard driver (perfect sound but I prefer to use the build-in microphone from Philips, I paid 400 French Francs extra for this build-in microphone, apart from the video)
An idea Ive been thinking of, is to get a cheapo video camera, and hook it up to a video sender. My video capture card has a TV tuner build in, and so the PC could receive live video from the bot, and with Microsoft Media encoder, could even stream a live feed on the internet. (No programming required on the PC end to achieve this)
Im trying to build Philippe Oechslins Sun CGI from the source he provides at http://lrcwww.epfl.ch/~oechslin/.html, but Im having some trouble...
